@sergeantbarnestm asked: you didn't have to go out of your way to take care of me. (either :) you pick)

“I don’t know if you noticed, but you kinda need at least some help.” and right now it seemed like Peter was that help. Which was exactly why he was trying to check over the former Winter Soldier for how his injuries were doing. It had been a couple of days since he managed to move the man somewhere out of sight and hopefully out of danger. It wasn’t easy, and the guy was seriously not looking good. Not just from one nasty injury he seemed to have but just, overall. The whole look and vibe was just not good. So Spider-Man did what he did best, try and help.
Even when the person he was helping set off his spider sense as soon as he woke up, and sent Peter immediately onto the ceiling out of the way of one disoriented fight or flight response. Attempting to talk the other man down while upside down still on the ceiling? Slightly eventful.
Said help was currently a rundown apartment on the west side of town that had absolutely seen better days, but at least no one was going to come looking for anyone there. Not when the building manager said he owed the local vigilante a favor for helping him out of a tough spot at least. Mercifully, the guy didn’t ask any questions, just handed over the key to the front door and said to let him know when it was open again. Easy, and super helpful.
Satisfied that there was nothing wrong, Peter handed over the bag of fast food he’d snagged on the way over to check on him, “Hope you like the dollar menu, you seemed like you could use it after everything.” he didn’t know much other than what they taught in high school about one Bucky Barnes, and he knew about as much about the Winter Soldier. But Peter absolutely recognized fast healing and a high metabolism, and that meant water, proteins, carbs, and simple fats and sugars. It wasn’t the most healthy option to get those but it was what he could get on short notice at any hour of the day. The three bottles of water he’d already set down were courtesy of his own stash in a backpack he had nearby, he could grab more from home later.
