In this book Criminal Profiler ,John Douglas, outlines how he can create a profile of a Killer from what they leave behind. This is interesting because, as he says, the more what is done to cover up a crime that creates the profile. This isn't because of forensic clues, its behavioural. Why did they cover the face etc. The more they do the more they reveal.
