now that i’ve watched DS9 (and loved it!) i can say with close to 100% certainty that they did in fact steal the idea from babylon 5. so this is my regular post telling all ds9 enjoyers to go watch the show it ripped off, babylon 5 is like if star trek were allowed to be as fucked up and dark as it should be. imagine if that late ds9 episode where nog deals with trauma was just like. the regular tone of a show. that’s babylon 5.
