Oh goodie. It's always the cookie jars she can't get her hands in. Percy doesn't know why Vox decided to put this particular jar on the high shelf - or rather, he does know - but it'll only make Velvet more intent on breaking it.

I watched the finale today, and I loved the way the characters were revealed. In some ways I feel sorry for John Walker, because he doesn't deserve to be treated that way. But we know who the real captain is. I was smiling with Bucky, and happy for Sam. Baron Zemo showed me a different side, and I hope he found peace of mind. It's just a shame about Sharon, why she was put in such a light🤔

Oh, great.

This was certainly not what the faerie wanted to deal with today - or at all, for that matter.  Crimson eyes slowly drift up from the book in her grip to their boss, analyzing their features.  Why would she care about something like that?  Did she even CARE, or was this just some ploy to emotionally MANIPULATE another one of her employees?

To be fair, they were still learning about friendship, having only just recently made a secure group of friends.  Though they were UNSURE to what extent Velvet even knew about that.  They weren’t even sure what she would look for in a friend.  So, regardless of their motive being to avoid the question altogether, they supposed it was still best to ask.

Looking up at the Overlord, it would’ve been impossible for Niffty not to recognize her. Unlike Vox, Velvet was not the object of Alastor’s hatred, but she spent too much time around him to be labelled as anything other than trouble. And, really, trouble for Alastor meant something absolutely terrible for any regular demon, didn’t it?

Which is why, after the initial shock at seeing Velvet wears off, Niffty takes a step back, fidgeting nervously. “Alastor told me not to talk to you, no offense.”
