Dunk and Egg, plus some famous ‘Game of Thrones’ families, are revealed in the trailer that has a surprisingly comedic tone.
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a prequel series set 100 years before the events of Game of Thrones and based on George R. R. Martin’s Dunk and Egg novellas. It was originally scheduled for a 2025 premiere date, but it was pushed to January 2026. The stars and creators of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms revealed the premiere date, Sunday, January 18, during the show’s New York Comic Con panel on October 9.
The trailer was also debuted during the panel, and it reveals a more comedic tone than fans have ever seen in this fantasy realm. Get your first look at Ser Duncan the Tall (Peter Claffey) and Egg (Dexter Sol Ansell).
