It’s my birthday! That means presents for all of you guys, right? I think that’s how that works. XD

Like many others, I am hurting over the events that have transpired over the last 24 hours. I don’t consider myself at the center of the berry world, most of what I’ve been working on behind the scenes recently wouldn’t even be considered berry, but I am still part of the community through my CAS legacies and my connections to people in the community, my friends.

Starting today I’ll be taking a couple of days off. My advent calendar is paused. It will continue, just, not for a couple of days. Don’t worry, everything will be released. I just need a few days off and away from the Sims and from tumblr. Simblr has always been a generally positive experience for me and I hope that positivity continues in the future.

I will still be active in the Historian discord and ensuring that all Historian recolors are reblogged at @historiansims. No matter what, the palette will always have support in one way or another, even when my own content may take a short break.

Take a deep breath. Unclench your jaw. Drop your shoulders away from your ears. Take care of yourselves, and of each other. If there’s one thing 2020 needs more of, it’s kindness. Please, be kind to one another.

Hello and Welcome!

Wow. Hi. Um, there’s a lot of you. Welcome!

There have been a lot of new follows since Simblreen started and I wanted to take a moment to say hello and welcome you to my little corner of the internet!

I’m Erin, or SerindipitySims. I’m a storyteller, recolorer and dabble in pose making. Recently you may have seen recolors showing up in my palette, The Historian. This palette was designed specifically for my new sim story Working Title. (If you find the “hidden” pumpkin on my homepage you’ll get to see just a bit of what this story is all about).

I try to release at least a few recolors every week. The Historian is new and there’s a lot of content out there so catalogue is still growing. If you want to see what’s been released be sure to check out our tumblr @historiansims​ where I reblog all Historian recolors and creations by myself and others.

My recolors will always be free and immediate access. As I am recoloring others’ content I do not feel comfortable putting recolors into early access or anything like that. Personal creations, such as tattoos, poses, etc might see early access on Patreon. If you’re interested in supporting my work I do have a Ko-Fi as well.

Finally, if you’re interested in recoloring with Historian be sure to reach out! We have a super friendly discord with resources and are always happy to have veterans and newcomers alike!

We officially crossed the 1,000 mark the other day and I’m still having a hard time believing it. Seriously guys, wow. Thank you so much!!

I did finally figure out a 1,000 follower gift but since we’re only 1/3 of the way through Advent it’s going to have to wait a little bit longer. Still have plenty of gifts to get through for the holidays! :)

Look for a big release coming at the end of the month, a final gift to end 2020 on a good note. I’d say we all need a few more good notes this year.

December is right around the corner and with it comes all the light and joy this season can bring. Except snow. I hate now. Brrr. I’ve been hard at work planning out a special gift for you all this season! Well... gifts, actually!

An Historian Themed Advent!

This year I’ll be posting gifts each and every day in December for Advent. This includes recolors and Sims! You can keep up with all the gifts as they come out on my Advent 2020 page. Once Advent is over I’ll be making one final post linking each and every one of my gifts so as not to flood all of your dashes.

I’m not sure why I didn’t think to do this sooner, but I’m going through and adding the following note to my Advent sim downloads:

***Note: These sims are yours to do with as you please! Change their names, their colors, their families! Use them as main characters, spouses, background npcs, kill them off in challenges, the choice is yours! And if you do end up using them, please feel free to tag me! I’d love to see what you do with them. :)

It’s almost time! Simblreen is upon us and for my first time participating as a CC creator I went a little overboard this year.

I will be giving out gifts both weekends and have about 25 gifts to pass out in total! Gifts will be passed out in batches and they will be different each day.

I will turn my porch light on in the morning (9am EST) and turn it off when I go to bed (time TBA). I want to go trick or treating as well to so this allows me to multi-task and to have as many people get gifts as possible!

Send me an Ask (not anonymously!) and I’ll send you your treat! No tricks here! Just treats!
