In all seriousness, though, would anyone be up for a Hugo Translation Exercises Club? Because I know that a bunch of us are trying to Do A French and the best thing for that is always just sitting down with some translation homework. Like, we’re not gonna do the whole Brick but we could start by working through the Amis’ introductions one by one and comparing attempts. Maybe once ClubQuasi’s over so that people aren’t too overcommitted?

Someone Start writing a collaborative peice with me?

Here's how I've done it in the past: We set up a google document, hash out a world, and then choose characters.

This can be great done, writing in an all out and out roleplay way, or developing narratives, or otherwise just doing worldbuildnig excersizes with very little actual story.

I'd be interested in any of these, and in many other projects someone could suggest.

What I'm really interested in doing, at least right now, is a sort of roleplay/worldbuilding excersise centering around a space station trading post in its very early days.

So, if anyone wants to write something collaboratively, I'd love to collaborate.
