“To be honest, I find GerIta to be overrated. And I hate it when people attack others for not shipping GerIta. Last I checked, everyone has the freedom to ship whatever they want.“
GerIta is in my top five most hated Hetalia ships for the reasons Anon put up. It really irritates me when Germany doesn’t interact much with other characters because he has to always be buddy-buddy with Italy. Though hopefully, later strips might change that (since in World Stars, Germany interacts with Greece, and Denmark’s profile mentions wanting to be closer to Germany).
It also irritates me when most of them (not all, I’ve met a rare few who don’t like this theory) insist Germany = HRE and they get upset at you if you disagree.
