I've always wanted to be a mother, but I can not stand the thought of raising a child in such a hateful, homophobic, racist etc world.
We are suppose to be so modern and evolved yet we have countries still governed by religion, religion that teaches that homosexuality is punishable by death, though this is in, in the least offensive way, less developed countries. It's when you hear that America, the land of the 'free' or some bullshit still wants to define marriage as 'one man and one woman.'
How can you 'define' marriage. How do I tell a child that not everyone will be okay with who you are.
God I hope one day we can all just seriously sort our shit out.
