Okay, so sneaking around a palace where magic was prohibited and a member of an ancient, powerful race wasn't welcome probably wasn't the best idea in the world. But all signs pointed to the fact the next gate to the Old Kingdom was either in here somewhere, or near the palace. Aida had seen her opportunity during the switch of the guard's shift and taken it. So here she was, daggers on her back and sticking to the shadows. Maybe she should have glanced around the corner before turning it, but she hadn't, and suddenly she was colliding with some man's chest. "Oh. Uh...'sup?"
