A tense smile passes over the Champion’s lips for just a moment. “You are Ser Maurevar, yes?” she asks to be sure, and she blinks over the man before standing and lowering into a half bow in front of him now.

(she knows there are those who would be horrified now, her bowed to a Templar)

"As Viscount, I need advisors, and I would like to offer you a place among my council given your knowledge of the.... inner workings of Kirkwall, I thought it best to extend an offer” Shepard admits, folding her hands behind her back.

4. What would their romance route look like? Would they be romancable?

Romanceable by male inquisitors only of course and may actually have humans locked out of the romance path, with Trevelyan being a noble, he straight up does not trust noble shems and will have to be talked into even regarding one as friendly, romance might just be off the table.  (Also, tbh, I have a hard time imagining him with any Inquisitor but Olek now, but obvs he can be grabbed by at least one Inquisitor.)

7. What would be on their tombstone in the fade (what is their greatest fear)?

Being rejected

14. What nickname does Varric give them?

A friend of mine briefly RPed Varric over Skype with me and I have to say I’m forever fond of their Varric calling him ‘Jumpy’ because Tavi is indeed a nervous little creature.

16. What would the Fear Demon say to them in the Fade to try and discourage them?

Something about him not belonging here either, Tavi leaves people so readily as a way to avoid being rejected, with the Inquisition being something he’s sort of stuck with at least until Corypheus is gone, he’s put himself in a position of potentially being turned away before he can leave on his own.

   Orsino did not give an immediate reply when his actions were brought into question. He did not shy away or even flinch, for he had faced worse from Templars than a turn of the body. It was uncomfortable, the way he gazed, obviously thinking but not acting. When he finally responded, there was nothing that led into it. The question was simply tossed overboard. 

   “How did you come to know Malcolm so... well?”

“You look hurt.”  Tavi fidgeted from one foot to another, not looking his best himself.  Scratches covered bits of his exposed skin, like he’d waded through a thorn bush to get back to Skyhold.  “You been to get taken care of or whatever?”

Like every other day in the Gallows, the day had been rough. Whenever Neil found himself flustered by the days events, he would typically seek out Ser Maurevar. It was probably odd for a mage to vent their troubles to a Templar, but there was something about that man that made it easy to talk to him about anything. Neil paced back and forth in front of the Templar, ranting about everything under the sun. By the end of it, his throat was tight and the corners of his eyes were wet. Neil had accepted long ago that tears weren’t a sign of weakness. They simply happened when you couldn’t hold everything in anymore. 

The mage apologized for losing it and started to turn away. Before he could get too far, a pair of strong arms enclosed around him. The gesture -the kindness behind it- gave Neil pause. Maker, how long had it been since someone hugged him like this? Neil melted into it, leaning his whole weight against the Templar. What an odd sight this must be?
