people don’t give blood of eden enough credit it was an amazing love story and had an amazing antagonist and Allison was such a likable character who you coulden’t help but root for even when she sunk into darkness her love for Zeke was so cute and she was one of the best examples of the reluctant hero, the side characters were great too. also the npcs were great too even if sometimes you wanted to throw them off a cliff.

Caleo: Calypso at the first series was bacially a fangirl. she was so addicted to company that she thought thats how she was going to do it. Shes paitent, overly kind. and just not the cal we know and love. Leo at the lost hero was your generic guy who couldn't get a girl. he thought girls being mean to him was them flirting and he crushed rather easily. fast forward to their meeting. Calypso is not kind at all. in fact shes mega bitch. she just wants to be left alone. if shes going to die miserable then let it happen. Leo dealing with his own shit isn’t quiet in the mood for bullshit. especially from women. soooo Leo gets on the island. no ‘hello hero’ no ‘please stay with me’ its ‘is this some kind of game?? He doesn't even look like the normal ones you send. Take this boy away from me!’ and Leo.... hes annoyed... angry “yooo sunshine, im right here ya know’ 

Had these two met before their development it would be been ‘oh noble hero’ and ‘omgs shes so bloody pretty’ but we don’t get that. THIS IS DEVELOPMENT ITS RIGHT FREAKING HERE 

Jason and Piper: When these two start off its kinda fast i will admit that but it does develop at the start of the series Jason dosen’t recall anything and Piper is the happy girlfriend who dosent know whats going on. as the series goes on Piper grows into someone who wants to love Jason for him even so far as to call the great percy unimpressive and Jason himself says ‘i don’t want you to be roman i want you to be piper’  this is change Jason goes from just going with the flow to wanting piper to be his and Piper goes from not knowing to wanting to know the real jason.

Huge pet peeve: When people make gay aus of straight pairings breaking up but just kick the girl to the side never minding that the straight pairing is happy and in love and what are you fools even doing stop trying to get people to break up to match your bullshit

seeing all this reyna discourse makes me realize something

its almost as if people only liked Reyna over the idea of her being gay. its almost as if they can’t enjoy her character if she likes men. its almost as if almost everyone on this site is biphobic?? Its like the idea of Reyna liking men somehow ruins this amazing beautiful character. Funny how that works out doesn't it

Please... all of you. Piss off. Stop being mad, this changes nothing. if you can’t like Reyna simply cause shes attracted to men then you were never fans of her character just like you aren’t fans of Calypso either.

my friend @feelsofmyfandoms of fandom made an exellent point destorying the ‘rushed’ argument once and for all 

and when percy was at ogygia for TWO WEEKS he said it felt like it was a couple years, and leo was there for three weeks so it was bound to feel like more than a couple years so calypso and leo felt like they were together for a couple years, which is more than enough time to develop feelings for each other

this is an exellent point. Time runs so much different on that island then it does in real life. It is clearly stated time has no concept on the island. So no Caleo is not rushed, we just don’t see the bonding and we didn’t see Solangelo bond either so stop being bullshit hypocrites
