I would not survive meeting my gender studies TA directly after watching one of Laura the Impenetrable's grand speeches on the server. Can you imagine the number of girls on the server who were desperately convinced that they need to turn to academia to give them clarity, peace of mind, and a way out from all the server discourse, only to walk in and see Laura there? The single most devastating way to realise that online is real life. Well, I guess it would save them some time by not letting them invest in academia as a limbeck for pure, 'rational' truth.
