๐ A Birthday Blessing ๐
Some birthdays are remembered for the cake, the balloons, or the party. But Ate Nena Rius chose to make her 70th birthday unforgettable for an entirely different reason โ one that pointed all glory back to God.
She celebrated her birthday earlier with family and friends, but instead of asking for personal gifts, she made one heartfelt request:
โPlease give in monetary form โ not for me, but for my outreach for Persons with Disabilities.โ
Her goal? To bless PWDs in Las Piรฑas who have been unable to receive help from the LGU. Together with her ever-supportive husband Allan Rius and their family, they turned this vision into reality.
I was invited to give an encouragement speech at the outreach, and I left feeling more blessed than when I came. I saw how Godโs love flows through Ate Nenaโs hands โ in church, to relatives, and to strangers outside church walls.
Her life is a reminder that generosity isnโt just about giving; itโs about returning every blessing to the One who gave it.
