While he was used to the concept of being away from his father, every inch of his being didn’t want to believe Joker will never return. Dwyer, being born to a Hoshidan mother and a Nohrian father, didn’t seem to fit to either nation, but as the Butler was forced to return to Nohr, Dwyer was told to stay with his mother. Now that Joker was gone, everything felt so... empty to the Troubadour. While most were relieved, and he’ll admit, no napping interruptions were nice, he couldn’t help but miss the Butler.
None of it helped Nohr and Hoshido were still at war. With a recent promotion, Dwyer was dragged onto the battlefield. The thought of killing made him feel ill, but there was nothing he could do. Iron Dagger in hand, keeping Recover Staff close, he remained towards the middle to assist anyone in need. The Nohrians were powerful-- it didn’t take long for Dwyer to allow the weariness get to him. As tired and tense as he felt, he had to push forward.
