Kagome Higurashi led a peaceful life, elbows deep in dirt and growing herbs. Her heart was solidly planted there as well, or so she thought. An accidental glimpse of the magic dwelling at the edge of the ocean tipped the scales and stole the heart she thought was so safely protected.

Current fav story I’ve written, initially inspired by “The Shape of Water”. 

Hoping to broaden my genre range into the more serious and construct some gut-wrenching angsty moments. I’ll definitely try not to overdo it.

10 minute sketch for the Dokuga’s January DDN. First Prompt: Feather I automatically think of Harry Potter when I think feather, so I did a little mixup of the two, and imagined Kagome being very “Ron” in her anger of how naturally talented Sesshomaru “Hermione” is about everything lol
