ARE YOU READY TO PARTY, SessRin nation?! We are excited to announce... THE FIRST #SESSRINWEEK!

This is an international celebration of the pairing of Sesshomaru and Rin from Rumiko Takahashi's InuYasha franchise! And this year the event will take place on Twitter and Tumblr from March 20th to March 27th 📅

We will have themes dedicated to each day, which you are not obligated to use, but they are available for inspiration!

CONTESTS

Our event website sessrinweek.sessriniscanon.com AND event Tumblr will have a live feed of SessRin Week posts, a fanfiction prompt randomizer to help you if you want new ideas, and information regarding contests and events!

There will be a fanfiction contest which, will begin on 3/20, and end on 3/27. The winner will receive an exclusive matte wall poster, with art created by @loli_megu! (the details are on the event website now).

There will also be an art contest, which will begin on 3/20, and end on 3/27. The winner will receive a SessRin Is Canon branded magic mug! (details are on the event website now).

PRO-SESSRIN TUMBLR TAGS 🌙 👘

As you might have noticed, the #sessrin tag here on Tumblr has been flooded by bitter antis lately. Given this, I suggest to use new tags! I’ve seen some of you, fellow shippers, using #sessrin positivity and #sessrin is canon.

Since your posts will only appear in the first 5 tags you use, I'd like to keep it simple and use only one tag specially for edits (such as gifs and graphics) about sesshomaru x rin and/or their daughters Towa and Setsuna: #sessrinedit

For everything else, I’d like to use: #sessrinlove

You’re free to use them, too! Let’s make these tags a safe space for us, sessrin shippers, since our ship is very canon now with the blessing of our dear mangaka Rumiko Takahashi herself!
