10 Minutes with a Stranger
Seth Hancock drove cross country to meet random strangers. For each person he met he talked with then had them write down answers to some questions about their stories and the barrier of social media, then would take their picture, and capture part of their personality. This story first interested me because I was thinking about trying to explain the reason/story behind your own work. Instead of explaining his work, or having a deep reason behind it, Seth decided to direct his subjects to the topic he wanted and let them explain the work. I think that this is an easy and effective way of showing people what you want your work to represent, yet still giving them the opportunity to express it in their own way
