TWD OC's: "The Micro Group"
Alrighty, and aside from a couple of more who come in earlier in TWD timeline, these are my main OC's!
Seth and Lucas Wilburn - Brothers who were separated from their parents during the panic and chaos amid society's fall and ended up in a safe zone with the rest of the gang that eventually was destroyed. Although the youngest, Seth was designated to carry the medical supplies and often made himself useful by attempting to decipher first aid manuals and delivering a healthy dose of unsolicited snark. Lucas was of a less intellectual sort but he made up for it in street smarts particularly in favor of keeping his baby brother safe.
Maile and Benjamin Hardy - Engaged Masters degree students who met during their undergraduate years when he was planning on studying botany and she wanted to pursue environmental law. While Ben could be considered the brains, Maile was more so put in the position to be the brawn. Yet, both were kindhearted individuals more often than not.
Rob Kahnwald - Ex-military turned car mechanic and one of the older members of the group, often butting heads with nearly everyone over everything—especially Tom—but has made it his personal mission to ensure the safety of Seth and Lucas since being with them in their original safe zone. In contrast to the rest of the group, he's very rough around the edges and perhaps the most hardened by the collapse of humanity.
Jeanine Waverly - Showjumper and horse breeder formerly married to a celebrity film director, trying to recover from the abuse of her marriage, the following very public and messy divorce, and the end of civilization. If everyone stopped asking her where they'd seen her before and underestimating her ability to survive, it would be too soon.
Tom Nemoto - Electrician by day and community theatre actor by night who was near the end of a performance of Sweeney Todd when all hell broke loose. Arguably the most calm, quiet, and level-headed of the group which has put him apprehensively in the position of the group's leader (up until Rob challenges his decisions). More often than not, Jimena could be found trailing behind him or at his side.
Jimena Marciel - The newest member of the group who was rescued by Tom from a violent and hostile community that kept her in a basement. It wasn't until after a while that she began to open up to the rest of the folks in the group and even still has a lot of trauma to work through that she neglects in favor of being no more than arms-length away from Tom.
