Seth’s really had a shitty year, hasn’t he? Rowan can’t help but think to herself, mentally mulling over the events of the last twelve months. For the brunette it seems to be a series of swings and misses, starting last April when his girlfriend had moved away until October when a club member’s wife was killed under their noses until now. Demoted with an ugly little empty space on his cut where the ‘PRESIDENT’ patch used to be neatly stitched. Part of her feels bad for him. There is no way any of this feels good for him and Rowan thinks Seth is the last person she would want to trade places with right now, but she can’t deny that she has been thinking there should be a change for a while now. Just not this change. This change leaves a bitter taste in her mouth that she tries to swallow down as she takes a seat next to Seth, brows raising at him. “You look miserable.” Their relationship has never been one of fake pleasantries, instead always operating with a brutal honesty and this is no exception, even if she does feel a little like she’s kicking him when he’s down. “You shouldn’t frown so much. You’re gonna get wrinkles and then you’ll be really ugly.”
