Another submission for #SethsDesk (submitted with 20 seconds left!): A slanted mug—for drinking or for pencil-holding—to match the slanted theme of the Late Night logo. And on the bottom is an old historic test pattern from the earliest days of NBC's local New York station, WNBC. And the mug has a handle, because, well, mugs have handles.
A “Little Sleuths” action figure. Maybe Seth and Amy can finally tweak the sketch enough that it’ll make it past dress rehearsals! I want to see the “Little Sleuths” on Late Night!
In light of the incredibly mind-blowing news that is Fred Armisen joining Late Night with Seth Meyers as the leader of the 8G Band, I've updated my original submission accordingly with a couple Fred-centric bumper stickers!
Look! I made lightly comedic and/or referential bumper stickers for Late Night with Seth Meyers' #SethsDesk contest! These oddly-placed, unorganized bumper stickers would be found somewhere on his desk, which has been passed on through every Late Night host up to Seth. (Despite the fact that, you know, that’s really not true at all.) Fun fact: The “my other desk sat two” sticker uses the exact font seen in the recently-unveiled Late Night with Seth Meyers logo. (Technically, SNL'sWeekend Update desk sits, like, four, but let’s not think too hard about it.) And the “property of” part of the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon sticker uses his Late Night logo’s font. YEAH! FONTS! You’ll also notice a few of NBC’s logos through the years, as well as “property of” stickers for all the incarnations of Late Night—including the show that occupied the slot before Late Night ever started, The Tomorrow Show with Tom Snyder. So please ignore my lack of humor and applaud my sense of NBC history!

Seth’s desk should include -A Late Night with Seth Meyers coffee mug but on the back it should have a logo of something that Seth likes such as SNL, Boston Red Sox, Philly Eagles etc. -A cup of Yellow pencils that have something written on them wether it’s the guests name or some sports team Seth is rooting for or SNL references. -Embedded on top of Seth’s desk should be a world map in wood grain and it could signify Seth’s favorite places or places he has lived with a star or dot. -A little cactus (maybe with a flower on top) mostly because it reminds me of the Late Night pickle -A classic Late Night microphone that most late night show hosts have but never use except for maybe Jimmy Fallon -A Polaroid camera to take selfies with guests and then eventually make a collage that can hang up in the 8G halls. -Sticky notes that already have advice/ words of encouragement written on them from fans, friends, family or coworkers. -A stack of papers that he can shuffle around or play hangman/tictactoe on when he gets bored Good Luck Seth! Counting down until the 24th! So excited!
