Maybe Sian Brooke isn't playing John's sister, but Sherlock's sister. Maybe she is the "other one" that has been alluded to in HLV.
Ok. What if Toby’s character is working on an experimental drug that could save John, Mycroft, Mary or the baby...However, it hasn’t been tested to the full extent and Sherlock volunteers to be a lab rat. 😭
It looks like Sherlock is in his mind palace, and not paying attention to what he is doing. He then walks into traffic, in front of that cabbie??
Has anyone noticed the implication of the fact that Sherlock has a BEARD?
I conclude Johnlock hasn’t happened yet (so far in the episode).
Setlock Subtext
I wrote a thing about colour yesterday so I could do some series four speculation based on setlock clues.
I just want to mention two things: CARS and COLOURS
REMINDER: CAR = JOHN’S PENIS (because LSiT’s meta about the hiker and backfire car in ASiB as John’s penis, and also Moffat used car=penis in Coupling, also this)
And what has setlock shown us? A RED CAR. And red is John’s colour.
(x) It’s an Aston Martin...“Martin” is possibly even another clue, because they could have used any old sports car. The car is John. It’s his dick, my friends. And I think it’s his bisexual dick, because I think we’ve seen his metaphorical hetero-dick already, earlier in setlock:
(x) Let me explain where I’m going with this: If this is indeed Mary giving birth in a car, and there’s evidence that it is, then the subtext says so too, because...
They’re in a tunnel. And tunnel = vagina. So we’ve got John’s metaphorical dick, in a metaphorical vagina, resulting in the birth of a child.
This is where colours come into it. I just wrote about how blue is connected to villains, deceit, and any occasion where Sherlock and John are behaving in a way that is pushing them apart instead of together. So the blue car of deceit and villainy in this scene tells me that it’s John’s dick behaving badly, that is, making babies with a woman, instead of being with Sherlock etc.
They did a whole episode about trains. And now there are cars. Because they can’t do trains again.
Now back to the red Aston Martin. Red is John’s colour, the colour of his true bisexual self, the one that loves Sherlock. So the red car is good. Very very good. And where John’s hetero-dick is an ordinary Audi, John’s bisexual-dick is a high-end sports car.
So what about the car chase in the Aston Martin? Well, the subtext would tell us that John’s bisexual-dick, the one that loves Sherlock, is on the run, it’s moving somewhere, very fast, with lots of horse-power. And that’s good. That’s very good.
Lastly, setlock has shown us Sherlock and John and Mary wearing TONS and TONS of blue so far. Their outfits have been MOSTLY blue. So things are looking pretty dark (or blue), plot-wise I would think.
But this is the best part...I hereby predict that we can have a good idea of when they have filmed a kiss, or when otherwise good johnlock stuff has happened on set, because their outfits might tell us. And I’m thinking that John’s shirts will be more of an indicator than Sherlock’s. When John stops wearing blue, and shows up at setlock with a red, or a purple, or a green or a pink shirt....then good things are happening. I personally want to see a green shirt. I will probably scream loudly onto my blog when/if that happens. This has been some setlock crack, thank you for reading.
What does it all mean??
The baby is not a bad thing. I don’t think the baby is really about Mary and John. It’s about Sherlock. That baby is tiny female version of John; now Sherlock has even more to lose. He promised to protect that baby, and if he can’t then that’s a little more of his heart getting burned out of him.
