…It might just be him, but this is a sight he hasn’t seen in ages! What do you call a sleeping …beast? when it’s down. Seto looks kind of terrified, kinda flattered he’s even a part of this whole ordeal! Camping out by the drooling monster. At least he’s snoring,
otherwise Seto might think he’d never come back from wherever he’s headed! He’d have to take some “extreme” measures before he goes to collect the whole gang - which should come first, to confirm what the heck is wrong with their newest sleepless addition!… He wasn’t dead, right?
Oh no, it’s when he starts stirring that Seto books it from the room and sets the selective props around Shintaro to look like they’ve never been touched. He was never here.
Hopes are he’s gone far enough away from the room that the notification to his phone doesn’t 'brrring ✧’ from the next hall over.
Then he would be in heaping amounts of trouble. He thinks? Nah.
"AH, YOU’RE AWAKE! SHINTARO-SAN!✧” Seto SLAMS in and chops the headboard right next to his head, “You almost slept right through dinner! We can’t have that, danchou isn’t going to be happy with you! We scraped the house top to bottom, I hate to disappoint!” JUST what he needs, right?
A fog horn blaring in his ear. Well, a very confidential, proud to have found you Seto extracting him from the bed. ‘We thought that you bailed from dinner prep! As far as I’m clued in, nobody was all THAT worked up to do your chores. You’re one of us now, you can’t get out of the work loop “that” easily!
We’re having curry tonight! Sorry we picked without you!" No he’s not.
When Shintaro naps, he might as well be dead to the world. He can tune out nearly any disturbance. He can weather nearly any onslaught. Ene knows the suffering of trying to stir him from his catatonia; it's an insurmountable task, it's--
Not as hard as it sounds. Just follow Seto's Three Step Plan to wake the beast.
Well first it's the banging of the headboard--just enough to bring him to wakefulness--but then It's a foghorn blaring in his ears that makes Shintaro jump up and screech in a panic.
"Seto what the hell--are you out of your mind?!" His voice raises both from being near-deaf at the moment and from what he believes to be very righteous fury. "My ears are going to be ringing for weeks--"
Then it's being dragged out of bed, and the poor introverted fellow can barely form a coherent sentence as he tries to process what he's being told.
"Oh no, Danchou's going to have my head! Sorry, I--"
"Wait. What. What's going on, I didn't even know I was supposed to be--" Shintaro squinted, rubbing his forehead, looking around in irritated bewilderment. "Did you say something about curry too...?!"
