- create good characters and then people just love to hear them speak and listen to their mannerisms and stories -having pretty plain main character and then interesting/heightened other (a foil) characters amplifies other characters and also you can have the main person kind of infatuated with the other person + makes them feel more distant so youre more intrigued -colour scheme heightened -criminal setting/characters?

Ｓｏｍｎｇｒｉｎｄ - Combination of the word Somn (Sleep, state of mind where the body has entered a deep rest) and Grind (Gate, a hinged barrier used to close an opening)

A world that exists in a state of constant Twilight, streets and dwellers alike adorned with lanterns in many shapes and sizes. Parents caution their children of the dark corners which no light illuminates, telling them grim tales of unruly children being spirited away by the souls of the dead.

The land is constantly colored orange by the setting sun, the flora matching it with leaves and plants of the same warm hues. Those who inhabit it traverse the wast land by means of mystical trains powered by countless magical lanterns, its tracks spreading out across the land much like veins on a leaf.
