Hi! If you're still taking requests, how about class 1-A trying to get todoroki and midoriya together, except they're already dating and just haven't told anyone yet
Hahahaha that’d be hilarious omg, thank you! Hope you enjoy what I come up with ^-^
“Look at them…” Hagakure whispers, hiding behind Kaminari, which in and of itself seems a little ridiculous since she’s invisible.
“It’s so obvious they like each other.” Ashido says in return, peeking from behind the library’s bookshelf and seeing Midoriya’s foot scoot closer to Todoroki’s.
“We need to set them up.” Kaminari nods to himself and the girls mimic his action with determined expressions.
“This will require all the help we can get.” Hagakure starts pulling the other two along, Kaminari already sending a mass text to a chat with the whole class (sans Todoroki and Midoriya) and calling it Operation Lovebirds. Bakugou leaves the chatroom as soon as he sees the name.
Todoroki is the first one to notice that there’s something off when they step into the classroom together the next day, as they usually do. After all, they always go out for a jog in the morning before classes, so it’s only natural that they’d wait for each other to get ready before making their way from the dorms. Even if they would have waited regardless…
He stops in his tracks at the entrance as Midoriya continues forward, face buried in his notebook as he rambles on about a new hero that had just debuted the other day and he’d been analysing them ever since. Midoriya notices that he doesn’t feel Todoroki’s presence by his side anymore and stops talking, lifting his head to look around and sees some stares trained on him that immediately shift to somewhere else when he looks their way.
Well, that’s not ominous.
Turning back to Todoroki, he sees the other with his eyes narrowed, finally stepping in after him and taking his seat in silence as he watches the whole class intently. Blinking at the strange scene, Midoriya does the same and the classes go by as they would any other day.
And then as soon as he gets up to leave for lunch, Todoroki already waiting for him, like usual, he’s suddenly dragged outside by his arms with a small squawk, Uraraka on one side and Aoyama on the other. He only sees Todoroki’s equal parts confused and annoyed expression before they turn the corner and keep walking him towards wherever it is they’re planning.
They duck into an empty classroom and close the door behind them, turning to face Midoriya with the face of two predators ready to pounce on their prey and he resists the urge to squeal.
“Deku-kun.”
“Mon ami.”
“You need to take action!”
“Huh?” Midoriya sputters, confused, looking between his two friends without understanding what the hell is going on.
“Todoroki-kun.”
“The class’ casanova.”
“I beg to dif-”
“If you don’t seize the opportunity while it is still open to you-”
“You will lose your chance at romance, chéri.”
“W-what?”
“Todoroki-kun could fall into the hands of someone else and you’ll never know what you two could have had.”
“I-”
“You must act!”
The door slams open and all three of them jump with the sound, Uraraka and Aoyama turning to see Todoroki standing there, extremely unamused and on the verge of actually being annoyed, and Midoriya sighs in overwhelming relief, pushing past the other two to get to him. He smiles bashfully, a light blush over his cheeks as he rubs at the back of his head, trying not to laugh at his displeased expression.
“They’re trying to set us up, huh?” Midoriya giggles, Todoroki rubbing at his temples with a grimace.
“Yaoyorozu going on a rant about how to woo you will haunt me for the rest of my days.”
The other two in the room exchange a confused glance before watching Midoriya rub his hand up Todoroki’s arm comfortingly. Uraraka’s eyes widen when Todoroki drops his head on Midoriya’s shoulder and the other pats it affectionately with a small chuckle, Aoyama letting out an astonished French expression.
Midoriya almost forgets to turn back to their friends before leaving, a light flush dusting over his cheeks. “Ah, right. Um… Sorry to throw a wrench in your plans but–” He lifts their joined hands “–we’re already dating.”
And with that, they leave the other two to stare after them. Well, it was obvious that they liked each other after all…
