The cars scream, stuck in the mud of traffic, and the pedestrians walk yet faster. Renee watches them with morbid fascination, as a young boy might while holding a magnifying glass to an ant. He quickly glances back up at the man who drinks this view every day, and he too looks at Renee like that.
