Good morning) how are you? My day has started with announcement made by my dear dear phone that called himself very very smart phone. The words were: "your camera is unavailable"... 😵🙊🙈 " you can try to restart me another 10 times. Your camera is unavailable"... 😡😤😠👿👹 "Yep. Still unavailable" ... 😱😰😨 "Doesn't work.. Still unavailable" ... 😔 so... I know that buying the new top camera phone is radical solution to the problem especially when you are short of money... ehhh... Will try to make a resurrection miracle at home, but I'm not sure if it's an application problem or hardware damage. Anyway at the moment it's dead. I'm sleepy. These wire mesh sculptures from Korean artist SeungMO Park are so unique, I've never seen anything like them before. 

These portraits are reminscent of film or slide negatives being viewed over a light table. 

SeungMO Park's Pensive Bodhisattva Maitrya is EVERYTHING. Probably a study of Korean Buddhist sculpture from the Silla period, one of the 3 Kingdoms of Korea and one of the world's longest sustained dynasties. The Silla was founded by King Park Hyeokgeose, who is also the originator of the Korean family name PARK. Buddhist sculpture remains an important form of art in Korea today, and you can see this in SeungMo's exquisite interpretation.

I love the way her gown falls, it's draped wonderfully. for me it's all about the dress in this piece.

In the studio was a screen made of wire mesh that created the illusion of forrest. Visitors would stand behind the screen and would take photos. Many did not notice the sculpture of a nude man in the corner right away or until they saw the images much later. Here we see Astrid and Vinny getting ready to pose for me, then Astrid notices the sculpture of the nude man and runs away, while Vinny gravely studies the figure. The images I took have an eery fairy tale like theme, children lost in the woods encounter menacing persona. I love it.
