Seven Count’s transmission from Sky Island. Friday, March 13th
As part of the Request Line album, we’ve released a zine documenting the recording process, which took place over the course of a week at BUOY gallery in August 2017
Available now on our bandcamp.
I’m extremely excited to announce that 7 Count has released Request Line
Stream and download it here
This is from a set Seven Count played last October at Spin Cycle in Saratoga Springs. We set up a low power radio transmitter that broadcast an earlier show we had recorded on WSPN - FM, and handed out small receivers to the audience, allowing them to mix their own experience of live and recorded music.
The working title for the band at the time was The Iliad.
Adam Tinkle on Saxophone, Jake Nussbaum on Drums, Angus McCullough on Trumpet
Seven Count played in Super Dark Collective’s Monday night series in Saratoga last week.
This is a weird moment from a ~ 40 min performance that felt like an out of body experience. Jake Nussbaum on drums and slide whistle, Adam Tinkle on sax and electronics, Angus McCullough on horns and samples
Seven Count is getting released this Saturday - ready for your earwaves
👯…and a #sevenCount on the left.
