my good friend helly r...... they scrimbled her so hard this ep. my orblo. why would they do it to her....
The tension, the fear, the confusion. She was kissing a cute boy less than an hour ago and now everything is different and Irv is gone and the boy hates her,,, she found out her alter ego is pretty much in charge of the Evil Company and she doesn't even have her found family to tell..... And this all happened to my good friend helly r
Milchick’s progress review was literally “you are too smart and nice please stop it.” But in all seriousness, the revelation/confirmation that all the improvements at the start of the season were specifically his idea feels significant.
Also Lumon trying to argue that innies are like, ontologically different from other people in a particular way that just so happens make working at Lumon the best possible environment for them to exist in. Yeah sure okay…
Also of course Trojan’s Horse comes from Ricken.
Speaking of which: shut up dude you clearly do not need that money.
I’m really excited to see where Devon’s character is going to go this season. Idk it just kinda feels like they’re building up to something with her.
the one two punch of Milchick trying to find some solidarity in Natalie by using the most coded and corporate language, getting rejected, and then going into a six hour meeting where the company starts by basically calling him “uppity” for using that exact same language
Goddd the background paneling dividing the frame between milchick and mark and milchick controlling the frame with a larger portion, symbolizing how the battle between them is massively tipped in favor of milchick and lumon over the innies
Then mark pushes back, forcing the two of them to be at least somewhat equal as mark gains ground and milchick loses it. Only for milchick to completely cross over the boundary to fully dominate the frame and corner mark in body and mind
yooo wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald being hummed in new severance ep…Canadian crumbs.
Mark saying he doesn’t really know who Helly is was so understated in this ep but sooooo good. his immediate look afterwards — guilt? shame? realization that save for one, SHE has seen HIM every single day of her life?
he “doesn’t know her at all”, yet he knows her better than anyone else she’s ever met.
mark being embarrassed he had sex with helena is the funniest thing ever actually
