So just yesterday a severe cyclone, Amphan, hit the states of Orissa, West Bengal in India, and Bangladesh and I'm seeing all these posts and photos of window panes of hotels shattered, trees uprooted, flooded streets, electricity poles in shambles etc etc but what I am not seeing is a post for all the stray dogs and cats and other animals that died, the storm was severe enough to sway a concrete building, to crush electricity poles, to uproot trees; imagine in what pain and helplessness must have the strays died. it just freezes me to think about that. yeah concrete fell off and window panes shattered and poles fell and trees fell but my heart goes out to those innocent, helpless stray animals that did not deserve to die in that soul crushing way. hopefully they find a better life, or even anything better than a life after death.
