I love when people say things like ‘What if Snape survived Nagini’s bite?’ to me, as if they earnestly believe that a Potion’s Master, who had been teaching children to not poison themselves for nearly 17 years is going to die to a snakebite. A snakebite that he already formulated an antivenin for to save Arthur Weasley. A snakebite that he knew was likely going to come because Riddle was relying on Nagini more and more as the war went on and on. The real question should be “Why didn’t he come back and tell everyone he survived?”
