It had been a terrible week, and that was saying something when those months had been absolutely hell. The execution hadn’t exactly control them, it had scared them all to death. People were over the edge and more accident were happening, just as well as Death Eater brutality. But in order to keep herself off the radar, Lily had to continue with her life as Felicity, a person who didn’t care about those who weren't pureblood. The mere thought made her sick to her stomach, yet she had no other choice.
If it were for her, she would have joined the rebels a while ago. Fighting against Tom Riddle and his Death Eaters was the only option they had, but she had to protect the Potters. They had helped her, they had risked their lives just to save hers, and she had to stick to the plan. It made her feel like a terrible person, leaving her friends behind, but there was nothing else she could do for now.
Lily was on her way to the staff room when she saw a familiar face in the corridor, and she couldn't help the relief and happiness it brought her seeing him alive and in one piece. If she had to be honest, she couldn't remember the last time she saw him, and even thought he had no idea who she was, she allowed herself to smile.
"Hey," she greeted. It was a very bad idea, only that Lily was tired of pretending she didn't know her friends. Of course Severus wasn't exactly her friend anymore, but family was always family no matter what, and he was the closest to a brother she had ever had. "I'm Healer Montgomery, is there anything I can help you with?”
