September 30th Slug and Jiggers Apothecary Closed for @suckmysnape
Diagon Alley seemed much quieter than usual that morning. She had heard vaguely that something had happened the previous day at St. Mungo’s involving Death Eaters, but she hadn’t really put any thought into it. When her parents were discussing it that morning, they had sent her to Diagon Alley to get a potion for her mother’s headache, and while she was annoyed at being treated like a house elf, it was better to go out than stay in the house with them. So she truly wasn’t complaining. She just hoped that the apothecary was open already and she wouldn’t have to wait outside the door.
As she got nearer, she saw that the lights were on, and the sign said that it was open. She smiled, glad, and walked in, walking straight up to the counter, not wanting to look around the shop by her own. That was what the people who worked there were for, she wasn’t going to waste her time when they would be able to get it right away from her.
Natalya frowned at the empty counter. “Excuse me?” She called. “I need help.”
