Quick test: I think I can figure out how to use a Himekawa-like style for other characters, like Raven here.
Yea I still need to practice XD

Here’s an attempt at Hua Cheng to go with Xie Lian. Still not quite an unique style but getting closer
Yea I think semi realistic might be my thing
Still trying to find my own style, so I attempted to redraw a shot of Xie Lian in something that‘s mine.
Right now I think it’s still heavily influenced by the source and what I remember of the manhua though XD
Next attempt at finding an art style. I think it’s not too bad, I’m content with the eyes, but something is missing. A little more Oomph. Working on that!
Sheesh, finding an art style is difficult. Next try! Xie Lian having to pose for me. Again.
I think I found the way I want to draw eyes at least.
So I got 1 % of my own art style figured out LOL
Still trying to figure out an unique art style for myself, so first I went and copied and compared different art styles to see what suits me best.
I don't know yet, they are ALL pretty XD
Sooooo, my second digital painting! This time, I wanted to focus on skin colors and shading especially - decided that a portrait would be a bit overly complex for that, so, this really cool hands picture I found served as a reference.
I think it turned out quite nicely! I’m super proud! =D
(This time I used mostly air brushes. I think those are pretty good for shading.)
