          her  face  feels  sticky.   is  it  blood?   her  own?   tears?   they  had  poured  down  her  face  in  thick,  warm  streams.   could  it  be  sweat?   her  forehead  feels  cold,  damp.   she  feels  cold.   trembling.   hands  shaking  as  sits  there  with  older  brother.   pale  and  pallid,  clothes  stained  red  with  blood.   she  was  frightened.   she  was  alone.   heart  aching,  stomach  aching  in  ways  it  had  not  since  her  father  had  died.   

          though  perhaps  this  was  worse.   having  seen  her  mother  dead  upon  the  ground.   just  a  glimpse.   robb  near  dead  in  their  wake.

          ❛  y - you’ll  be  okay.  ❜   her  voice  is  feeble,  shaking.   she  has  to  choke  back  tears,  choke  back  panic  in  order  to  get  words  out  at  all.   but  she  must  speak  to  him.   the  hound  had  told  her  to  keep  him  awake.   ❛  i  won’t  let  you  die,  i  promise.  ❜   a  promise  to  him.   a  promise  to  herself.   already  she  had  failed  her  father.   now  her  mother.   she  could  not  fail  robb  too.

i think he’s too twisted to have developed it from his childhood i think it would probably mostly be him being born that way but his childhood added to it maybe?

as a child development major, I always consider this shit, because nature vs nurture is always this huge ass debate, and I'm like well we have Joffrey as a prime example, people said he was horrible bc of his birth circumstances, but im like Tommen and Myrcella were LOVELY though? So I'm like WHAT DO PEOPLE THINK?

It’s repeating over and over in her mind, the memory playing over and over again. Her father standing up there, kneeling, and then Joffrey ordering for him to be beheaded, and then nothing. That empty feeling that seemed to overcome her because she had lost her father, and then it started all over again. Each time, she thought she reached the end of the memory, it would start over and over again. When she opened her eyes finally, she realized that the wetness she’d been feeling in her dream, coming from her eyes was real. She was actually crying, and she was no longer alone. “Robb?” had she been screaming? Had he heard her? “What are you doing in here?” but her brother didn’t answer her because he was holding her then, and she realized he was there to comfort her, like a big brother was supposed to.

     she couldn’t believe the words when she heard them, she had to see him with her own eyes. robb! alive! rushed steps filled the halls of winterfell, when she made her way towards the main hall, the lady of cintra hurrying to see the young man she’d sometimes think of as her very own son. 

     “ robb! arya! “

     her voice echoed in the room when she stormed in, emerald eyes widening at the sight of the two of them, so changed, all grown up now.

           ❛   and  i  you.   ❜      the  words  are  firm,  before  she  returns  to  looking  out  of  the  window.      she  still  doesn’t  know  the  real  reason  cersei  is  keeping  her  here,  she  supposes  maybe  her  father  has  done  something  to  displease  her.      but  she  hates  it,  hates  being  away  from  her  family,  hates  these  people  who  clearly  see  her  as  some  kind  of  bargaining  chip.      she  doesn’t  sleep  much  anymore,  scared  that  perhaps  they’ll  decide  she’s  not  useful  anymore,  decide  her  head  would  be  more  useful  than  all  of  her.

                for  a  moment,  her  brain  is  so  clouded  from  the  lack  of  sleep  that  she  feels  bold,  so  she  speaks,  not  expecting  an  answer.      ❛   why  am  i  here?      what  use  can  a  frail  girl  from  the  vale  be  to  you?   ❜      ✨     @sevnhells      !
