Antonin couldn’t deny that he was enjoying himself. Spending time with Dora and just letting himself be. Not worrying about pasts but trying his best to be present in this moment in time. He caught a glimpse of Sev and went over to him with a big smile on his face. 

“Having fun here cousin?” This was probably the most carefree Antonin had been in a while.

“Well look at what the snake dragged in. Oh I’m sorry too soon?” Rabastan leaned against the edge of his desk, arms folded and eyebrow raised. He watched the other man very closely. Both the Lestrange brothers had been in the inner circle of the Death Eaters, Rabastan had been the quiet one, listening to everything that was said and keeping quiet. Having dirt on everyone made him incredibly powerful.

"Maybe not but I still don't trust you to not make a rash decision that will be unhelpful to anyone." Rabastan rolled his eyes. Unamused clearly by Sev. "Making a rash decision like joining the order will get you killed and your little friends will end up dead as well."

Rabastan lit his cigarette while the other spoke. He still didn't trust Severus. Doubted he ever would. The way Severus went missing, likely dead was suspicious. "This is a warning, Snape. The last courtesy I will do you." He looked up once his cigarette was lit. "Rejoin our ranks, be reliable and obey your orders or die along side those who stand against us." With Voldemort here and him making Rabastan his number two, Rabastan was likely more dangerous than ever. He had the position he wanted and the power he desired. So he'd fight tooth and nail to keep it. "I won't offer this again." Voldemort was recruiting so Rabastan was doing what he could to round up only the loyal.

Antonin’s magic was coming back and the thing he was most pleased about was being able to be back in his animagus form from time to time. It offered a sense of freedom, he could move around the city and not be seen. He decided to surprise Severus with the fact that his magic was returning so he landed in his animagus form of a raven on Severus’ windowsil. He let out a caw and scratched his beak along the frame for a moment while he waited.

“This is very good news and it’s mostly thanks to you. I am very grateful to you.” He smiled at Sev. Looking down at his now healed hands. It was a relief but he wouldn’t be quick to use his magic again yet.
