I’ve been saving these leftover scraps of Christmas fabric since like 2013 and have been wanting to make an apron (my favorite thing to sew) out of them for a good two years, but there hasn’t been a time.
Thanks to all the bon app I’ve been watching, my high key crush on Claire Saffitz (and all the others, @brad Leone), and my lack of drive to do anything that requires a real pattern, I’ve started creating a BA-style patchwork Christmas apron. Here’s where I finished tonight (it’s 2:17 am so idk if this counts as night). I’ve got to add another column to the main piece, see the straps on, and hem the whole thing (and maybe add a pocket? TBD).
I’ll reblog the finished version when it’s, you know, finished.
