I marvel at these little guys. They seem altogether more purposeful, mindful and engaged than I am on most days. That reminds me, weeks ago I popped the button off a pair of walking shorts. I found the button, and it's been sitting with the shorts, on my bedside table. Yesterday, finally I sewed the button back on. It wasn't pretty, as I don't see very well. But the button is back on, and it's going to be there for years. I put those walking shorts on this morning, and not without feelings of pride and accomplishment. Such a small thing.
