I miss my good sewing machine and the easy way it stitches through fabric, all the while making a pleasing mechanical noise! I also miss having a place to keep it out consistently.

this useless plastic piece of nonsense that I have to lug down from the closet every time I want to use it is barely worth the trouble. 

I need to make more quilts.

i did it! i brought my stuff to a store and it's officially on consignment.  i am artist #86 at the lucky dumpster. 

i feel really good about this.

now i'm going to drink beer and sew things together and nest away in my cozy house.  it's crazy windy out there! how much do i love that i have one more day off? SO MUCH.
