We are heading into the social season and that means debutant cotillions in December. The Bay Area has a long history in presenting accomplished women and women from socially prominent families into society. There are balls inv various cities around the bay. Michael Jang captured this tradition for African American women from the East Bay who have been presented since the 1950s.
