Smiling Serenity nodded. “Kit likes Black a lot, Bowser too but lets face it that teddy bear of a dog is just a little too big for your brothers liking.”
She giggled, by then their food comes out, both are given syrup and a small bowl of fruit to go with their food. She cut into her waffles and took the first bite, she already knew it would taste good but regardless she loved it. She cut a good portion off hers and gently slid it on to Slims plate.
“Here you go, give it a try if you want.”
Obviously he was going to laugh about how she mention the height of his older brother because yes, he was kinda small with her big bear dog at his side but it was cute at the same time.
—"Yeah.. Black really likes Kit but he can't say the same as Bowser haha!" —He snorted but was able to calm down when the food arrive making him almost drool because of how good it look.
He also cut a part to eat it being in delight of how good it was, he couldn't resist more to give it a bite to the crepe enjoying the taste of what it contains.
But he smile at her when she give him a part of her waffles and obviously he also cut a part of his to give her smiling like a sweet pup until he started to drink the milkshake.
Reaching into her little satchel she pulled out a brochure to a cabin rental site, it was close to a large pool where inflatable water themed attractions were set up.
“I thought we could rent a cabin or yurt and spend a few days there, we can go swimming, hiking or even just staying in the cabin and read books all day. The cabin rentals are cheap this time of year, there’s more too, there’s waterfalls and a beautiful trail taking you over all kinds of bridges!”
She was like a child describing their favorite dessert to their parent, she just couldn’t stop thinking about her, Slim and his brother all playing on the inflatable water park equipment. Though the last time she did she twisted her ankle….but she had to admit having her darling right there to hug her and make her feel better eased the sting a bit. But she digressed, just the idea of getting away from the city and being in nature with her new love, his brother and her doggies just sounded like bliss.
“Of course I’ll bring stuff to make that s’mores dip you an your brother like too.” His brother never admitted it but he liked her s’more dip, she felt he grew to like her, he was sweet in his own way….but she digressed and smiled. “An I’ll be sure to bring Bowser and Kit with me, I know black isn’t a fan of Bowser but I don’t leave my boys behind.”
When she pull out that to show him and started talking about their trip he enjoyed more listening to her being happy talking about the ideas she had.
She really was enjoying her ideas actually even tho got really worried the last time they went together for her ankle but he did his best to help her.
—"Oh hell yeah, I love your s'mores dip!"—He let out a laugh because he was honest, those s'mores were the best. —"Black don't like Bowser because of his size but he really likes his fluff, im happy to see Kit again!"—He get really well with her dogs, he liked how fluffy they are and he could tell that his brother did too.
“Thank me for what? People should know better then to be rude, in public or otherwise. An besides your my darling why wouldn’t I defend you.” She took a free hand and gently scratched under his chin, making him give off a happy growl.
She couldn’t help think he was just the cutest thing in the world, she thought she was the luckiest girl when she ran across him…well more or less blessed. The first time meeting him she was recovering from a betrayal of the nastiest kind, she remembered how she felt her entire being wishing to be swallowed up by darkness…all those thoughts disappearing when she saw him. Ordering food but a rude customer giving him a hard time, it was scary to face off against a stranger but she was thankful for it.
It’d be a lie to say she wasn’t a little bit intimidated but…when he gave her that smile..her heart instantly melted.
“Anyway sweetie, I had a great idea for our trip….your still ok with your brother coming with? I know you don’t like leaving him alone for too long.” The girl was as sweet as the desserts she made, always mothering not just him but his brother.
He was more than happy to hear the voice of his boo and now she did that making him let out a little growl, man, he really enjoys when she does that making him like a little puppy.
Looks like the both of them still remember how they meet the first time because he was just minding his business trying to get some food but like this time, a rude worker didn't want to give him what he was asking until she defend him, once again, he was really grateful with her but something about her got his attention and now look at them, just some lovebirds.
—"yeah, its fine but hopefully he won't get mad for us being clingy."—He let out a chuckle because yes, he was clingy already but not that much with his brother, now with his boo.. he was a dog following her around looking for love, literally.
—"So what's your idea for the trip, boo?"—He started to play with her hands like a little child waiting for their things but he was really enjoying staying with her.
Picking up the menu she scanned over the smaller desserts, smiling as she spotted a nice little stack of waffles with whip cream and assorted nuts. Turning the menu around she scanned the drinks and opted for her usual as well. By that time a older woman walked up, giving them a smile.
“Hello there, what can I get you two?”
Serenity spoke first. “I’ll have the pecan an hazelnut waffles with the apple syrup and a ice mocha please.”
The waitress took her menu and turned to Slim still smiling. “An you darling, what can I get you?”
He also took the menu looking even if he was going to go with the usual, he was pretty chill after what happend with that rude worker because now he was with his boo and food, a good combination.
When the older lady came to the table asking for the orders, he was still looking at the menu just in case he wanted something else but looks like not.
—"Hm.. I would like a chocolate milkshake and a crepe, please."—After saying what he wanted he also added the mix he would wanted in the crepe to only watch the lady leave.
—"You really saved my back there, I don't what got into them, im too handsome?"—He couldn't hold on a chuckle looking at the worker trying to calm down some customers mad at their attitude, almost as angry as his boo acted. —"How can I thank you?~"—And another giggle while taking her hand to kiss with gently because of his fangs.
