Sam got up an stretched herself before following her guid around the house
"Alright, first off you got the kitchen, but you know, you know that," he points to the kitchen. "and the living room which we're in now, we have a movie night every now and then here but tis mostly just for chilling, warning tho don't sit in those seats, the grumpy skeletons claimed em."
He then thinks for a second. "We could cheek out the garden now or the library, what would you wanna do?"
“I’ll handle the dishes Annie, can you see if the others need help? The boxes should just be some gaming consoles and clothes” Sam wanted to do what she could to keep Annie distracted.
Slim noticed but for his babe’s sake he stayed quiet, he’d do something nice for her later
—Yeah! I-I'll do that..— She yelled since she was already with the boxes, still doing deep breaths to calm herself, glady for her Sam has marked what room could be the gaming room so she was making sure the consoles were in their place, then taking the clothes of her and Slim into the other room with the view the other girl had mention.
Slim in the other hand let out a sigh because obviously he could feel what was bothering his baby but the moving had to continue, he will cuddle with her to make her feel better but the furniture was a little too heavy but thankfully Coffee had arrive.
She looked so innocent and sweet laying there, just a few hours ago she was caught in a storm but now she found a haven in the strangest of t places.
In her dreams she sees the shadows of her friends distort into darker versions of themselves. Their sickly claws reaching for her only to be pushed away by something and….being held in someone’s arms…someone who smells like honey.. and bones
It was only just morning, the sun was bearly up. When the lights in the hallway flicked on, a little shining through the door left a jar by the careless skeleton who tucked you in. You hear people through the open door to a room that would otherwise be soundproof.
"PAPYRUS!" Chimes a loud blubbly voice, it was Blue. "READY FOR OUR MORNING RUN!?"
"ABSOLUTELY! THE GREAT PAPYRUS IS ALWAYS READY!" A just as loud but not as bubbly voice says back.
"I'M NOT SURE IF THE OTHERS ARE JOINING, WE CAN WAIT A LITTLE BUT I'M NOT TRYING TO WAKE THEM AGAIN," Blue chuckles. "I'M NOT EVEN SURE ALL OF THEM CAME HOME LAST NIGHT. THEIR LOSS. ANYWAY I'LL GET OUR PRE RUN SMOOTHIES READY!" He runs downstairs.
"RIGHT BEHIND YOU BLUE." Papyrus follows suit.
What a lovely wake up call.....
Taken aback by the sudden barrage of greetings it took Sam a moment to collect herself. She mostly was stunned by the mirror like identity of Papyrus and Stretch. But composure came back when she dusted herself a bit and turned to the table.
“I made fruit salad, fresh orange juice, pancakes and ‘together breakfast’ which is basicly waffles with chocolate syrup, whip cream, strawberries and unsalted popcorn. I also cooked plenty of eggs and…well thats about it. Stretch mentioned what everyone’s preference was so i worked with what I had.” Sam gave a slight blush as she turned to start cleaning up the kitchen.
“I’ll finish cleaning up here if you’d like to start eating.’
"THANK YOU SO MUCH." Papyrus chimes, getting some food.
"TOGETHER BREAKFAST!!!!!" Blue excitedly exclaims. "OH STARS YOU'RE AWESOME YOU CAN STAY! PLEASE LET ME HELP CLEAN UP!" He doesn't wait for permission he just starts cleaning with you.
Stretch appears in the kitchen out of thin air. "Hey something smells good."
"BROTHER!?" Blue squeaks. "You know it's not noon right?" He mumbles to him.
"Yeah yeah I know."
"Then what are you doing up so early? It's not.... ooooo." Blue then whispers something you can't hear to stretch.
"Na bro." He replys with a little blush. "Its jus... You know I can't resist a sweet treat. Whatever smells so nice must a woke me."
"If you say sooo." Blue then finishes off the cleaning for you.
"Morning hun." Stretch steps over to you with a lazy wave. "You sleep good?"
Despite the booming voices of the sweet skeletons Sam gets up, she had a speical breakfast to prepare for everyone and she had no time to waist. Getting up she took a nice long thoughtful shower to erase some of the thoughts of last night…mostly why she left. She then brushed her teeth and put on clean clothes, a galaxy print hoodie she packed and dark green khaki’s.
Looking around she found no one was awake, she closed the door to her room leaving all but her phone in the room. She walked downstairs and out the front door, she recalled a gas station nearby. Pushing moped there was easy, got it filled up and stocked on the ingredients she needed for the speical breakfast. She couldn’t help but feel a pang of sadness….she may have to leave this place an to be honest she didn’t want to leave.
Sam returned and started making the large breakfast, plenty of fruit, pancakes and other such good things, she even made ‘together breakfast’ from Steven universe with the waffles, chocolate syrup and other such yummy things.
As soon as you've finished cooking the gaggle of energetic skeletons have returned, they follow their noses to the kitchen.
"OH MY STARS! WOW!!!!!" Blue chimes. "THIS LOOKS AND SMELLS AMAZING!!! MY BROTHER MENTIONED YOU MIGHT BE MAKING BREAKFAST THIS MORNING. OH AND LOOK PAPYRUS YOU GET A CHANCE TO MEET SAM! SHE'S THE ONE I TOLD YOU ABOUT EARLIER!"
"HELLO HUMAN NAMED SAM!!!!" Papyrus takes your hand quickly. "BLUE TOLD ME ABOUT YOU, IT'S NICE TO MEET YOU!!!! I AM THE GREAT PAPYRUS. THIS FOOD LOOKS AMAZING WHAT HAVE YOU MADE?!"
The goes on talking and chatting, before long Sam falls asleep, curled by Stretch like a kitten with its mama
He happily chats with you. He watches as you get drowsy talking about everything and nothing, he finds it adorable as you nod off mid conversation.
You've had a long day, and a lot of stress at the moment thats for sure.
He packs the remaining snacks in your bag and carefully picks you up. Taking a quick shortcut to your guest room. Placing your things next to the bed he then goes to lay you on the bed and tuck you in.
Sam smiles and sipped her own drink…..it hadn’t hit her until then that she never felt this liberated, she was free to joke and laugh the way ‘she’ wanted.
An….she’d be lying if she didn’t have some feelings forming for this stranger…
She spoke up “Do you like horror or survival films?”
The sudden question got him to pause. "Yeah, kinda depends, my favourite are either really well written ones or ridiculously bad written ones." He chuckles. "I'm guessing you're a fan?"
Soon Sam handed back the little ball of sunshine and joined in for breakfast. The morning consisted of what their plans for the day were
Some of the skeletons had work today, Blue was heading to the bakery he works at, taking some muffins he made to show off his baking progress in hopes they'll let him cook not just serve.
Red was also heading to work, it was his turn at the little food truck, you found out he sells hot-cats when it's his turn, where Stretch sells corndogs and Sans who you've yet to meet sells hotdogs.
Papyrus is off to the shops today, and says he's spending the day out.
The people staying home are Kezi who's looking after the little one and Stretch who said he might write or relax or maybe go out or something he wasn't sure yet.
