Flower Power and Ice Cream Hour

It should be a beautiful weekend in San Francisco! We'll be enjoying the sunshine in Golden Gate Park at the SF Botanical Garden on Saturday -- join us with a blanket and/or a book to read.

12:00 PM -- lunch at Lime Tree Southeast Asian Kitchen

1:00 PM -- arrive at San Francisco Botanical Garden for reading and relaxing in the sun :)

Free for San Francisco residents! Bring proof of residency. Otherwise, $7 admission.

2:20 PM -- arrive at Kazar Triangle

The event on March 22nd features a community picnic, giant bubbles, circus workshops, live music, art and nature tours, and activities for the whole family.

SUNDAY, JULY 28, 2013

09:00 AM -- Henry and Melissa leave from Potrero Hill on KT Light Rail

10:00 AM -- arrive at Stern Grove Concert Meadow

ARRIVAL: although the concert starts at 02:00 PM, people arrive really early since it's a FREE concert. They close the park when it reaches capacity, which tends to be around 01:30 PM (although it's been as early as 12:30 PM). Come early and picnic / wine with us!

PARKING: is HORRIBLE. Instead, try public transit (MUNI buses or light rail)

ATTIRE: DEFINITELY dress in layers, maybe sunglasses/hat

BRING: water, sunscreen, blankets, small chairs if you have them, picnic food!, wine, a book or something else to pass the time

It's going to be a bit of a hike so prepare for stairs! Maybe even bring a water bottle if you have one.

Description: Come enjoy the sun, music, flora, and friends in the beautiful National AIDS Memorial Grove and join flow artists, fanners, flaggers, and friends for an afternoon of fun, sun, and remembrance at the National AIDS Memorial Grove in Golden Gate Park.
