We live in a very delicate balance with the ocean. She will welcome you like an old friend that you haven’t seen in years and at the same time, take away everything that you’ve ever worked for your entire life, within minutes. I have lived on the Southeast Coast of the US since I was 18 years old and have seen what the ocean can truly bring. Hurricane Dorian is a sad reminder that we are not respecting our oceans. If we do not find a way to better protect our planet’s delicate balance then she will take care of herself at our great expense. The past 10 days has been such a roller coaster of emotion and continues to be, as this storm moves its way up the south east coast. I am hoping and praying that she takes mercy on all of my friends and family in the Carolinas and Virginia. Sending love to each and everyone of you today, Mali 🙏🏼💗 🌊💗 🌊💗🌊💗🙏🏼 #stormyweather #hurricanes #oceanlife #oceanliving #sfllife #tropicalstorms #nature #weather #hurricanedorian #earthmoving #southeastus #southerngirl #turmoil #pollution #oceans #protectearth #protectoceans #respectlife #dontpollute #doyourpart #prayersforbahamas #livingbythesea #capehatteras #wilmington #charleston #wrightsvillebeach (at Cape Hatteras Lighthouse) https://www.instagram.com/p/B2EjI3aAyt2/?igshid=1ej40wyygbugu
