Last Fall Hueman painted the facade of 5 buildings in a small alleyway named Hickory off Van Ness in the San Francisco Civic Center.

She says while it was not her largest mural it was the most challenging. The mural is her attempt to portray what music looks like - and the ability to hear/taste or feel color. While the baton is associated more with orchestras, it is the floating invisible hand for all musicians playing in unison. The mural is adjacent to the SF Conservatory of Music and actually at a small music hub with the Civic Auditorium, The Symphony Hall, Opera House and Jazz Center within a few blocks and night clubs nearby.

Sign up for some music in the area and walk through the alley to view her mural to wet your appetite.
