  Be Quiet, uno de los más conocidos fabricantes en soluciones térmicas, chasis y fuentes de alimentación de baja sonoridad, acaba de presentar su nueva linea de fuentes de alimentación de formato SFX y certificación 80plus GOLD.

Uno de los mayores problemas con fuentes de alimentación de estos tamaños suele ser que su diseño compacto obliga a usar ventiladores de pequeñas dimensiones, que han de funcionar a más revoluciones generando mucho ruido. Eso no sucederá con las nuevas SFX-L de Be Quiet, pues el fabricante se las ha ingeniado para poder emplear un ventilador de 120mm generando así una disipación mayor a mucha menor revoluciones.

Estas nuevas unidades de Be Quiet serán completamente modulares y vendrán formatos de 500 y 600W, lo cual es más que suficiente para cualquier ordenador de pequeñas dimensiones. Además, estas nuevas fuentes de alimentación también cuentan con un adaptador a ATX, para poderla emplear en chasis convencionales.

Las nuevas Be Quiet SFX-L se encuentran ya disponibles a un precio de 109€ para el modelo de 500W y 129 para el modelo de 600W.

First seen at CES and then again at Computex, Lian Li’s compact form-factor SFX power supplies have finally arrived. The Lian Li PE-550 and PE-750 power supplies are capable of driving multi-GPU gaming systems despite the smaller foot print. The 550W PE-550 is 80-Plus Gold rated with 89.5% efficiency while the 750W PE-750 has a higher 80-Plus Platinum rating with a maximum 92% efficiency. To go with the more discreet size, both PE-550 and PE-750 PSUs utilize a 120mm smart fan that only kicks in when the load goes over 30%, remaining silent during most of its operation.

Bundled with with SFX power supplies is an ATX adapter so it can be installed on any ATX compatible full-sized system as well. These products are currently on display at Gamescom in the CaseKing display at Hall 8.1 Stand B-051 and are also now available in the US from NewEgg.com for $115 and $169 USD.
