SG Character Project - Stargate SG-1 - Daniel Jackson - Key Episodes

Disclaimer: These are just a few of the characters key episodes. Each one was chosen based on my own opinions and feelings. You may disagree with me. That’s fine. I had a hard time narrowing down 200 episodes to just 9. I looked for episodes which showed key features of their personality, key moments in their past that defined them, and moments that led to character development. 

His connection with Abydos, whose people became his family and marked the start of his journey.

His thirst for knowledge which is behind everything he does.

His parents death which changed the course of his future and affected him deeply.

Finding his way in the world past the loss he’s experienced and maintaining the ability to see the good in everyone.

Discovering different methods of power and how to use it to better the world.

Sacrificing himself for the greater good

Her marvel at all the new techonology that the Stargate introduces her to.

Kicking misogyny's and the patriarchy’s ass left and right.

Her love for her surrogate daughter Cassandra

The effect Jolinar had on her both physically and emotionally.

Her relationship with her father and how the Stargate program allowed them a chance to reconnect and grow close.

When Sam is given the chance to shine she shines brighter than the sun she blew up that one time.

Realizing how much her family and teammates mean to her.

Disclaimer: These are just a few of the characters key episodes. Each one was chosen based on my own opinions and feelings. You may disagree with me. That’s fine. I had a hard time narrowing down 200 episodes to just 9. I looked for episodes which showed key features of their personality, key moments in their past that defined them, and moments that led to character development. I wanted to summarize who they are.

Betraying Apophis and saving SG1 and the others. He lost his family, his people, his home in order to do what was right.

Teal’c bears responsibility for all the cruelty the Goa’uld have committed. He takes responsibility because he feels guilty and he wants to give the victims some sort of restitution.

He fights for his family and people. 

Teal’cs honor as a warrior and his responsibility as a leader to his people

Him losing the last connection to his oppressors (the Goa’uld) by getting rid of his symbiote for good

Moving forward with accepting that women can be fierce warriors as well

Teal’c will never give up without a fight

Tomorrow I’m posting 4 of the first gifsets for my Stargate Character Project and I’m really really nervous about it. I worked hard on them.

Oh yeah I’d love some imput! Some of the main guys are becoming the hardest. Here’s my list so far. If you guys wanna send which ones you think are better that would be fantastic

So its really really really hard to narrow down the episodes for my Character project. I have like 15 episodes for each person. It’s ridiculous. I wanna narrow it down to at least 10. This is hard.

So I don't know if anyone is interested or not but here's an update on the sg character project I'm doing. I have graduated college and now FINALLY have some free time! Woohoo! That means I can work on this now. I have a good list compiled and I'm working in gathering all the episodes. If anyone has suggestions still I'll take them! Next up: giffing appropriate scenes

Hey guys, thought I’d give you all a quick update on the character project I’m working on. Still gathering episodes but I have a good list going and I’ve started downloading the specific episodes I need.

I graduate in a little more than a week from now so I’ll b e able to start gif-ing very soon! Woohoo!!
