Hey, Smart Girls-team!
This may sound silly but you guys are truly a big reason why I had the courage to start this blog that is entirely focused on one of my biggest interests. You guys inspire me to be who I am and do what I love.
I wrote this post about the Smart Girls who were the leading ladies of the Stonewall Riots in light of that their history is being erased by hollywood. It would be great if you guys could reblog it so they can get the recognition they truly deserve. I swear twice (only for emphasis. not for putting anyone down) in the post because I feel so strongly about this injustice and I understand that that might prevent you guys from reblogging it, which is okay. But I felt like this was worth a shot.
Either way, I'll wrote about more important women in lgbtq history in the future (with no swear words this time haha). I'll submit those if I find those smart-girls-at-the-party-tumblr-worthy :)
So incredibly grateful for this organization. I often will look to you for inspiration, encouraging words, reassurance that everything will be alright. You guys exceed my expectations every single time. To someone who didn't receive a lot of positive feedback growing up, it's a beautiful thing to experience it from an organization that generates so much love and positivity. I know that you get this kind of gushy stuff all of the time, but you are doing great work. I love you&I like you:]
