Mdm Yong lives near My Kind of Fridge at Tampines Blk 441. She is one of the regular volunteers who has been coming to sort out the food donations and clean up the area. If you do pass by the fridge, you can also help by disposing any food that has turned bad or cleaning up the fridge. I shared a video on 15 Sep of a kind man who got out of his car and helped push a wheelchair user across the traffic lights in heavy rain. It's been 2 weeks since tighter measures in Singapore to make non-essential service employees work from home, and I sure miss my office. . In these times of Covid19 pandemic, I'm fortunate to have job security and I'm blessed that I work for a great company (haha - my bosses, are you listening?). . Anyhoos... I know some people are not as charmed, with job losses, cuts, pullbacks and non-renewals, so I'm devoting this post to help those lagging behind during the coronavirus crisis. .
