GST advantages

The various advantages of GST in India are as follows,

Before the implementation of GST, individual states had strong taxation rights. They levied many indirect taxes like the central sales tax, VAT, excise, etc. But with the coming of GST, the registered tax assesses are asked to pay a single uniform tax.

Cascading tax effect popularly known as the tax on tax has also been eliminated after GST has been imposed.
